Great Reviews!

Laura's set designs freely range from Death Valley (or somewhere similar) to a cattle boat crossing the Atlantic to a New York hotel ballroom.

Described by Whats on Stage as irrepressable, effervescent and thoroughly professional, unfailingly human and likeable!  What more could you ask for!

CATS Awards - Laura Hopkins winner for Best Design

Othello (Frantic Assembly)

It proves propulsive, tense and highly watchable. Iago moves through the other sportswear-clad characters, who move in slow motion as he outlines his evil scheme. As Ryan Fletcher's very Scottish, very drunk Cassio reels around the room, the walls give way in a concertina effect. Later, after Mark Ebulue's Othello has murdered his wife on the pool table the walls give way for him too, as he buckles under the enormity of what he's done. It's a brilliant effect.

..this raw reinvention keeps you in its grip.

**** The Times

A Farewell to Arms

...the wonder of this adaptation is that it manages to convey the beauty as well as the horror of this theatre of war.

Such a confident conflation between text and technology suggests that Imitating the Dog is not only a company without imitators, it is currently withut peer.

**** The Guardian

A Christmas Carol (Houston Grand Opera)

Together, they have penned a spellbinding, intensely theatrical experience for HGO's intimate Cullen Theater. The opera is a true tour de force - a one man show - with Jay Hunter Morris as the narrator of this beloved fable.
